John
O. Johnson
Prior to founding TSG, Mr. Johnson served as Managing Director and
co-Head of the Middle Market Investment Banking office of Banc of
America Securities in Los Angeles. Mr. Johnson has significant experience
in all investment banking products and services, including M&A,
high yield and convertible debt, as well as equity financings and
corporate restructurings. Prior to assuming his responsibilities
in Los Angeles in 1998, Mr. Johnson was a member of the Middle Market
Investment Banking team of BankAmerica Robertson Stephens (later
named NationsBanc Montgomery Securities) in San Francisco, with
responsibility for the applied technology and business services
practices. Prior to these responsibilities, Mr. Johnson was a Group
Head in the Asset Based Financing Group which focused on leveraged
buyouts and leveraged finance transactions. Mr. Johnson joined Bank
of America in 1984 and spent his first five years specializing in
technology company banking coverage. Mr. Johnson holds a B.A. from
U.C. Davis and attended graduate school at University of San Diego
and California State University, Fullerton.
Peter
D. Morgan
Mr.
Morgan, with more than 25 years as an investment banker, is highly experienced
with corporate finance transactions. Prior to founding TSG, Mr.
Morgan was a Managing Director in Mergers & Acquisitions at
Banc of America Securities, where he was the senior banker responsible
for originating, executing and closing M&A assignments for the
West Coast middle-market client base. Prior to joining Banc of America
Securities, Mr. Morgan was employed for more than 12 years by Lehman
Brothers, where he advanced to be a Senior Vice President in Mergers
& Acquisitions. While at Lehman, Mr. Morgan also served in the
Financial Restructuring, Corporate Finance, and Primary Capital
Market areas. In addition to a broad range of transaction experience,
including M&A, distressed debtor/creditor work-outs and debt
and equity financings, Mr. Morgan has over four years of experience
in M&A Transaction Development, a special function dedicated
to identifying strategic ideas for corporate clients, particularly
in terms of potential acquisitions. Mr. Morgan holds an MBA in Finance,
with Distinction, from the NYU Stern School of Business
and a B.A. in History from Denison University.
Juan
E. Mondragón
Mr. Mondragón joined TSG in 2003 from
Banc of America Securities where he was an Associate in the West Coast Corporate Finance Group
in Los Angeles. Mr. Mondragón has experience in multiple areas of Investment Banking, including
mergers and acquisitions as well as capital raising comprising of private placements,
public follow-on offerings and convertible debt. Mr. Mondragón has worked on financing and strategic
advisory assignments in the media & entertainment, industrial, applied technology, and healthcare sectors.
Prior to Banc of America Securities, Mr. Mondragón worked as an Analyst for the Latin America Private Equity
Group within Bank of America. Mr. Mondragón holds an MBA in Finance from the Marshall School of Business at the
University of Southern California and a B.A. from Whittier College.
