John O. Johnson

Mr. Johnson co-founded The Spartan Group (TSG) and has over 25 years of investment banking experience. Prior to TSG, he was a Managing Director and co-founder of the West Coast Corporate Finance Group of Banc of America Securities in Los Angeles. Mr. Johnson joined Banc of America Securities and its various predecessors, including Banc of America Robertson Stephens and NationsBanc Montgomery Securities, in 1984. He specialized in technology sector company coverage between 1984 and 1989. He joined the Asset Based Financing Group in 1989 and focused on leveraged buyouts and leveraged finance, and ultimately became a Group Head. In 1994, he joined the Corporate Finance team in San Francisco and led the Industrial Technology and Business Services sector practices. Mr. Johnson co-founded a public rental services company, General Finance Corporation (GFN), as Chief Operating Officer in 2005. GFN completed and integrated 14 acquisitions totaling nearly $400 million under his direction. Mr. Johnson holds a B.A. from the University of California, Davis.

Peter D. Morgan

Mr. Morgan co-founded TSG and has over 25 years of investment banking experience. Prior to TSG, he was a Managing Director in Mergers & Acquisitions at Banc of America Securities. Mr. Morgan was the senior banker responsible for originating, executing and closing M&A assignments for the West Coast middle-market client base. Prior to that, he worked for more than 12 years at Lehman Brothers and advanced to be a Senior Vice President in Mergers & Acquisitions. Mr. Morgan also served in the Financial Restructuring, Corporate Finance, and Primary Capital Market areas at Lehman. He has a broad range of transaction experience, including M&A, distressed debtor/creditor work-outs and debt and equity financings. He has over four years of experience in M&A Transaction Development, a special function dedicated to identifying strategic ideas for corporate clients, particularly in terms of potential acquisitions. Mr. Morgan holds an M.B.A. in Finance, with Distinction, from the New York University Stern School of Business and a B.A. in History from Denison University.

Christopher P. Page

Mr. Page joined TSG in 2010, and has over 12 years of investment banking experience. Prior to TSG, he founded the Industrial Growth and Services sector banking group at Wedbush Securities, and completed over 30 private and public equity offerings and M&A transactions with an aggregate transaction value over $4.5 billion. Mr. Page worked at Drexel Burnham Lambert, Lehman Brothers, and Morgan Stanley in equity sales and practiced corporate and securities law prior to investment banking. Mr. Page covers the Industrial Technology and Services sectors focused on Energy / Clean Technology, Engineering and Environmental Technology and Services, and Advanced Materials. Mr. Page holds a J.D. from Whittier Law School and a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Juan E. Mondragón

Mr. Mondragón joined TSG in 2003, and has over 14 years of finance experience including corporate lending, private equity and investment banking. Prior to TSG, he worked at Banc of America Securities in Los Angeles. His financial product experience includes mergers and acquisitions and the structuring of funding initiatives comprised of senior debt, subordinated debt, convertible debt and equity, both in the public and private capital markets. Mr. Mondragón has worked on financing and strategic advisory assignments in the consumer, media & entertainment, industrial, applied technology and healthcare sectors. Prior to Banc of America Securities, Mr. Mondragón worked in the Latin America Private Equity and Healthcare Groups within Bank of America. Mr. Mondragón holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business and a B.A. from Whittier College.
